A Bristol Roofing Company, Not a Storm Chaser
SuperRoofs LLC has been roofing the Tri-Cities since June 2024, from a base in Bristol, Tennessee. We are BBB Accredited with an A rating, licensed and insured, and we are still here after the storm season ends.
Who we are
SuperRoofs is a local roofing company working both sides of the state line in Bristol — Sullivan, Washington, Carter and Unicoi counties in Tennessee, and Washington County and the City of Bristol in Virginia. Most of our work is residential: full replacements, repairs, metal roofs, and storm damage.
Why the storm-chaser question matters
After a big hail event, a lot of out-of-state crews show up in the Tri-Cities, knock doors for a few weeks, and leave. Some do fine work. The problem is the ten-year workmanship warranty they hand you, which is only worth anything if there is still a company at the other end of the phone in year three.
Three things worth checking on any roofer, including us:
- Are they accredited anywhere you can verify? Ours is here (opens in a new tab) — BBB Accredited since February 2025, A rating.
- Are they licensed and insured, and will they show you? Ask for the certificate of insurance with your name on it as the certificate holder. Any real contractor will send it the same day. Tennessee licensing can be checked at verify.tn.gov.
- Do they have an address and a phone number that a person answers? Ours is (423) 218-9144, in Bristol.
How we work
Free inspection first, and an honest answer — including “you do not need a roof yet”, which we say more often than you would think. Then a written quote you can actually read, with what is included and what is not. Most single-storey replacements go on in a day; two-storey and cut-up roofs take one to two. We clean up, run a magnet over the drive, and you get a 10-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer coverage.
Insurance work
We document storm damage with dated photographs and a written scope you can hand to your insurer. We do not negotiate, adjust or settle claims — that is between you and your insurance company, and in both Tennessee and Virginia the people allowed to do it on your behalf are licensed public adjusters. We also cannot waive, rebate or absorb your deductible, and neither can anyone else: it is illegal in both states. Any roofer offering to is proposing insurance fraud.
